Peterloo Estates has signed a development agreement with a private family office to redevelop a former rail wagon repair yard in Currock, Carlisle, into circa 100 new family homes.

Local firm Architects Plus have been appointed along with Frost Planning to bring the site forward through planning in the first quarter of 2021. Construction is expected to commence towards the end of the year.

The development will offer around 100 new family homes, all within 10 minutes walk of Carlisle city centre.

3. Timelines

Detailed planning approval is anticipated mid-2021 with construction starting later the same year.
