Peterloo Estates has signed a development agreement with a private family office to redevelop a former rail wagon repair yard in Currock, Carlisle, into 92 new family homes.

Local firm Architects Plus has been appointed along with Frost Planning to bring the site forward through planning. Construction is expected to commence in 2022.

Resolution to grant planning permission was secured from Carlisle City Council on 13th May 2022.

2. The Project

The development will offer 92 new family homes, all within 10 minutes walk of Carlisle city centre.

3. Timelines

Following delays in determining the application, construction is likely to start in Q1 of 2023.
