New homes for North Manchester

Outline planning permission to build 48 family dwellings on the former Bowker Bank Industrial Estate was granted in 2012. A further permission to build an additional 26 homes on the former eastern reservoir alongside was granted today, 10^th April 2014.

The proposal will provide much needed family housing which will contribute to the overall housing supply in North Manchester.

The site lies in the Irk Valley in North Manchester. It is enclosed by the River Irk, woodland, a retained reservoir, and housing beyond. Peterloo Estates' Managing Director Stephen Barker commented;
